MLA Ron Cantelon Elected BC Liberal Government Caucus Chair

VICTORIA- Parksville-Qualicum MLA Ron Cantelon has been elected chair of the BC Liberal Government Caucus.

“I am proud and honoured to have been chosen by my colleagues to serve as caucus chair,” says Cantelon. “I see this as a great opportunity to work on some important issues and I am pleased to be able to represent my constituents in such a high-profile position.

“We are facing some economic challenges due to the global economy but we have an incredible team who are committed to ensuring British Columbia comes out of these difficult times in a strong position. Premier Campbell has laid out a vision for the province to move forward and I know our caucus is committed to building a stronger B.C.”

Ron Cantelon was re-elected for his second term on May 12, 2009 in the riding Parksville-Qualicum.
