The Province of British Columbia and the government of India signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on co-operation between the two governments for mineral exploration and mining.

Wavefront, a Vancouver-based wireless company started with a $5-million investment by the B.C. government, has signed an agreement with India that will will facilitate and accelerate bilateral wireless business.

New legislation introduced ensures family law in B.C. places the best interests of children first when making any decisions involving a child.

B.C. people are the portrait of diversity

As part of Multiculturalism Week, the Province will launch "BC People: Portraits of Diversity in BC," a new book that profiles 51 British Columbians from a variety of cultural backgrounds living in every region of B.C.
